According to the story at the link, acting US Attorney for DC, Michael Sherwin, stated "items, electronic items were stolen from senators' offices, documents and ... we have to identify what was done to mitigate that."  Senator, Jeff Merkley (D-Ore.), reported that at least one laptop had been stolen. 

But, there are still people on FR saying that the laptops were all a fantasy etc.
