No! The green check mark ✅ is just a font icon. Anyone can type it and add it to a username. This was added to deceive. Look for the GOLD BADGE. The real Trump account will have a gold badge.

Parler sometimes adds the following badges next to the avatar image.

I did not get on the Facebook/Twitter technology movement. I was quite happy to post at American Thinker, FreeRepublic, and Townhall. I even consider e-mail and the telephone to be satisfactory means of communication. So perhaps you can understand that I am at sea when it comes to Parler.

1) There are many people you can follow that purport to be President Trump.

2) When I click on the home page icon, I see seven suggested people to follow.

a) This listing would be a great place to display the official, true link to President Trump.

b) I am unable to scroll the list to see more people to follow.

3) I’ve done a search for BlackFemaleArmyColonel and the same preceded by # or @ without success.

4 Are their tiers of membership? Private, paying, etc.?

5 Following/Unfollowing.

I first followed PragerU and DineshD’Souza and one of the Trump identities and it seemed to work. However I was overwhelmed by the number of postings by PragerU, Dinesh and, what I presume to be individuals promoted by Dinesh. So I unfollowed PragerU and Dinesh. Then, being uncertain about the Trump identity, I unfollowed that. I think that getting rid of clutter can be just as important as following something.

I use web browsers only, but a very, very large group don't, the use their portable device. In fact I doubt most people even know they can text from their desktop, if they even have one. Fact is most everyone has a cell phone and keep it with them24/7, so that is there preferred method of communication, us desktop users are just a tiny fraction of the people who participate in this forums.

One other thing that I just now thought of: Think how popular you’d be (+ potentially pulling in some significant extra bucks too), if you provided people with some (unofficial) instruction / tutoring on how to text from the desktop. Here’s what is likely to happen over the next few months.

Trump goes to Parler and gets 40 plus million followers.

All the followers of the other Purged Conservatives also go over to Parler and other “Alt Platforms”

The Left/Socialist/SJW’s will attempt to Dox anyone that posts on those platforms. They will attempt to get them fired from their jobs and ruin their lives. This will be done by labeling everyone and anyone that is on Parler etc as a Radical Nazi, a Domestic Terrorist etc

I believe that the folks at Twitter, FB el al know perfectly well that this is what will happen and they want this to happen.

They are intentional creating, and have been, “The Other”. An enemy to be isolated and destroyed.

If you open a Parler account and work for any company that can be intimidated by the SJW’s, I suggest making the account anonymous as much as possible. You should also get a VPN.

It will get even worse than that.

The Biden Administration will use the Power of Government, FBI, DHS etc to seek out and prosecute these newly defined “Domestic Terrorists”.

Yes, It won’t be long before we will be targets of our Government and they will have the full backing of the Media, Big Tech and the Courts.

I can’t see this playing out any other way.
