Same here. In fact they are WORSE than Dems. I expected the Dems to be my enemy, but didn’t expect the GOP to stab its own supporters in the back. These guys deserve stuff that is medieval.
That’s all the more discouraging. Mitch must have instructed them to decide as they did. Their willingness to obey Mitch on such matters (vs the constitution!) was probably a prerequisite for being considered as a judicial candidate.
Maybe that was partly why the democrats seemed to be ‘allowing’ this judge making so happen without push back.

Not really. That issue was created by Trump when he reopened it after the bill had already been agreed to and passed. The Democrats were gleeful when Trump did that, for good reason, but they ignored the other half of Trump's demand to eliminate some of the other spending. Mitch simply stuck to Trump's position that more checks had to go with reductions in the other wasteful spending.
Did not know that. But not surprised; all these politicians are incestuous.

It’s standard operating procedure for all the members of the old administration to tender their resignations so a new administration can hire their own people — only now the fake media will spin it into a personal betrayal and repudiation of the president. They certainly are not going to waste every opportunity to distort the perspective.
Everybody knows that the only reason for paying any attention to the old media and the old politicians was Donald Trump — so why should he provide any more oxygen to the dumpster fire that is the sparsely attended “Democratic” inauguration?
Let Joe Biden do his thing — and then have the media spin it as the greatest inauguration speech of all time — worthy of the most popularly-elected president ever. That’s going to be a hard charade to maintain for the next four years — while everybody waits for that fatal moment. But we don’t have to tune in for the Death Watch.
Hopefully they’ll allow everyone to visit their own elderly relatives before the four years are up — and not have to witness the Old Guard of the Democrat Party go into senility as our own collective experience and “political correctness.”
So keep the memories alive of what fully functioning people look like and do everything possible to improve one’s own life and environment — as the key to fitness and survival, no matter how much the media now tries to convince us that fat and diabetic is healthy — and nobody should ever go to gyms anymore.

I hope that the Mitch McConnell apologists here have finally come to their senses that Mitch McConnell was Trump’s enemy all along, and ours as well. He blocked Trump from accomplishing anything legislatively. Now he wants us to beleive that he supported Trump until Wednesday. Bull. He just feels he has sufficient air cover now to come out of the closet as the ‘f-you all you conservative scum’ believer he’s alway been.
