The WalkAway campaign, also styled #WalkAway, is a social-media campaign that was launched ahead of the United States 2018 mid-term elections by Brandon Straka, a hairstylist from New York City.[2][3] According to its website, the campaign "encourages and supports those on the Left to walk away from the divisive tenets endorsed and mandated by the Democratic Party of today."[4]

The only reason I still have Facebook is because of that group. Thousands of people a month would post either pictures or video testimonial of themselves sharing the reason they have walked away from the Democratic Party. I would say more than 50% of the people are people of color, gay. Trans etc. It was very peaceful and always inspiring and was my feel-good thing to do for the day just to watch and read. I cannot for the life of me imagine one single reason why they would do this other than maybe its a little too inspiring. I am sick to me stomach. This is bad!

That is infuriating. If the Dems have a 1 vote advantage, they can count on all votes, and push that advantage all the way.
The GOP is so filled with self interested slime that they can’t agree if water is wet. They have to check with their donors. So, like you say, the GOP gets little done when in power. I guess that’s a situation that won’t come up again.

Maybe Brandon pulled it down. He was at the rally and had lots of video. Maybe he is protecting himself legally from arrest or incrimination

I was only on Hatebook because of a 2nd amendment group I was in. Hatebook decided to monkey around with us, and they switched to MeWe.

I’ve predicted this for a while, that if the Dems “won”, they would deal with #walkaway *mercilessly*. We’ll see how long it takes before Brando Straka is up on some ‘ham sandwich’ charges.
