So, the VP threaded the needle between betrayal of PDJT and committing treason by absolving himself?
I don’t quite get how he threaded the needle.
What if he had accepted the competing slates of electors and had the Congress start the debate on each?
What if he had thrown the contested states’ biden electors out and thus sent the issue back to the individual contested states?

Pence could not throw that back-to-the-states option in his stew. It would have been the essence of Constitutionality.
We have been given understanding that the Constitution requires state Legislatures alone to determine their Electors. But, doesn’t that directive assume there was/is no foreign interference in said election, and that the one-man-one-vote rules the day, and both assumptions were in effect, and therefore there was no challenge to the contrary?
None of that was the *rule. according to the evidence.
All of that *rule was challenged.
That is what is killing Pence. He and every level of the Judicial Branch (all courts), the Legislative Branch (both houses of Congress), and the Executive Branch (the Justice Department) first ignored and then actively suppressed any and all hearing of the challenges and the evidence that proved foreign interference and that one man, one vote was disproportionately manipulated and compromised, in five plus states.
