PC\Laptops have a keyboard key that should say "Print Screen" or "PrtScn)".(If it's a MAC I know nothing)

Hit this when you want to take a screenshot.
It puts it on your clipboard.
You can then open anything that will hold an image and paste it to "Paint" or A Word document etc...
Open "paint", then do a paste. Then you can save it as an image, which saves it as a .png image.

The Snipping Tool is also in earlier versions of Windows

I DID IT!!!! On my laptop (HP) I hit fn button and print screen and violets!! It saved it to my photos.

I feel powerful.. rubs hands together, looks to take over N Korea.

On a Mac it’s “Command” + “Shift” + “4” all pressed at once.
That brings up a special cursor.

Drag the cursor to define a rectangle/square on your screen.
Release the mouse and the highlighted area should appear as a new file on your desktop; Use “finder” and “order by date created” to find it.
