I don’t think the pope is going to be arrested— at least not right away. Forced to resign, commit suicide, go into exile, etc. because he has been shown an indictment against him—any of these I can see.
I can see people around him being arrested.
Given the diplomatic status of the Vatican IF something was to involve the Pope they would probably leave him in place with restrictions and 0 news.
Anything along this level of activity needs to be carefully vetted for “noise”, normal failure activity, old stories capitalized on by douchebag click hunters (the HAM radio piece comes to mind there), ANYTHING more than one hop outside of close acquaintances and associates, etc...
We will probably not have any “official” acknowledgements until we have the physical upper hand outside of events like high profile deaths or vessels captured or destroyed in flight (any type, fleeing).
I guess it is all wishful thinking.
