Why would someone need to hack the election via military satellite, when you can hack the election via the internet? If I remember the voting machines and servers are connected to the internet.

This story does not pass the mustard test.

The "need" is for military grade encryption which hides the data being transferred, and to cross international borders to make it more difficult for courts in the U.S. to compel testimony. Sure it could be done in the U.S., but it would be easier to detect, and prosecute. These people didn't want to get caught.

This story does not pass the mustard test.

I never heard of the mustard test. Is that to get stains out of clothes? Is it easier than the ketchup test?
