I don’t like the self-righteous vibe he puts off.

Freepers denounce cancel culture.

But practice it just as quickly as anyone. Often without any hard evidence or details.

Come on, Freepers. We can do better than this. Resist getting easily triggered. Think. Evaluate. Allow time for the truth to emerge, and then form opinions and emotions based on truth.

No State submitted more than one slate of electors.
I’m sorry you were fooled by the “alternate elector” stunts.

Cite for me the 2020 statute from each of those four states that directs the governors of those four states to appoint electors? And notice that I didn't ask for any supposed binding law from any previous session, because that would be unconstitutional.

I'll give you just one example here. This is from Pennsylvania: The Secretary of the Commonwealth, on receiving and computing the returns of the election of presidential electors, shall lay them before the Governor, who shall enumerate and ascertain the number of votes given for each person so voted for, and shall cause a certificate of election to be delivered to each person so chosen. -- 25 Pa. Stat. § 3166

I believe this law dates back to 1937.

Yes, although I thought it was 1939. Anyway, that 1930's law makes my point, and I had that particular law in mind when I was making the point.

Reality says that laws passed by an earlier legislative session remain in effect during later legislative sessions.

If the law binds future legislative sessions to giving up their constitutional power, then no it doesn't.

I hope he fades into political oblivion.

He told us to walk over there to continue the rally.

And once inside the Capitol, the SF ops who had infiltrated Antifa grabbed the hard drives with evidence those Congress cretins were directly messaging and colluding with Antifa re: the "riot."

I couldn't figure out why Trump would have invited all of us to DC to put us in the middle of an obvious setup. But now I realize... It was freaking GENIUS. No Watergate break-in required!

And just how do the laws strip future legislatures of their constitutional power?

You are so right.

Pence is a career politician.

He’s like Obama.

Never put on a uniform, never ran a business, just
ran his mouth on radio for a coupla years.

Not a very impressive resume. third rate college, third rate law school.

RINO to the core.

And just how do the laws strip future legislatures of their constitutional power?

For example the 1939 PA law directs how PA electors are picked.

Futures sessions of the legislatures are not bound to that.

I never said that future legislatures could not change the law. The Pennsylvania legislature can change the law at any time to say that the legislature will select electors and voters have no say in the matter or something along those lines. Absolutely nothing, other than political considerations, prevents them from doing that. But they haven't. The 1939 law remains in effect and will remain in effect until repealed. Absolutely nothing unconstitutional about that.
