The problem is, we are the ones who provide the tax money. It’s not the big corporations, they have all the deductions. It’s us who provide their money. If the get rid of us they are left with the uber rich and the welfare class. Neither of them contribute.
As long as the dollar is world’s reserve currency, our tax dollars, while not insignificant, will not be a deal breaker if they want to get rid of us. And anyway, they can simply replace us with their favored brand of worker...a much more subservient type. They’ve already shown an eager willingness to utterly destroy small business - even though tax dollars from LLCs and sole proprietorships are quite significant.
