I am no expert on the 25th Amendment ( who is?), but why does it follow that it is invoked by Pence ordering out the Nat’l Guard? Yes, I know that’s the job of the POTUS. But Pence was there, and Trump was not, and someone had to do it. Doesn’t the 25th require some finding of incapacity to do the job, and wasn’t this an emergency?

Rather than invoking the 25th, Pence ordering the Guard is arguably an ultra vires act on his part, which could have consequences to him, not Trump.

BYW, I think what Pence did was the correct move, regardless.
