You’ve been watching too much of the history channel. The freemasons have not been involved with politics since the revolution of 1775-83 when they were in the forefront of the effort to push aside the British ruling and treatment.. We do not meet secretly to plan
public operations to determine the fate of the populous. Additionally there are a number of illegal lodges that profess themselves to be freemasons, because they say so, and are not recognized by the grand lodges of their area which is the deciding factor of who is and not a freemason. These people are aware of their effort to mirror the craft and do so for other than legit reasons and many times act discordant with the craft. Please don’t bundle us with problem children.
