I think within hours if not already, Chris Miller finds he is under a budget lock or of some encumbrance, with no option to command any meaningful departmenal action, beyond planning his retirement, 20 January.
As SecDef he has no shortage of $$ available. As a patriot I doubt he cares about anything besides the success of whatever op I hope is in play. I doubt based on his history he rattles easily in the face of bureaucracy let alone a foreign or domestic enemy.
