I believe the President is using this time to prove to the public that martial law is the only way.
If the POTUS doesn’t sufficiently demonstrate the need for this severe step, some our best Patriots will mistakenly sacrifice their lives believing the MSM narrative that Trump is enacting a coup.
Our Marines dont WANT to shoot Americans, especially the ones bold and brave enough to fight.
We are not losing.
Trump is setting the stage to minimize conflict and sacrifice, but he will never just give up and hand our country to our enemies. Neither will we.
Our enemies need to see our resolve - all the hand wringing does is make them think we’re pushovers. Dooming can get patriots killed if it makes our enemies underestimate our will to fight. We are not going to give and become slaves.
