Here are the 7 Senators who objected to the Electoral College vote from Pennsylvania:

Sen. Ted Cruz
Sen. Josh Hawley
Sen. Cynthia Lummis
Sen. Roger Marshall
Sen. Rick Scott
Sen. Tommy Tuberville
Sen. Cindy Hyde-Smith

Wneighbor: Curious note is that only 6 senators objected to AZ while 7 objected to PA. Also, IIRC, 1 or 2 objecting to AZ did not object to PA. I believe Kennedy from LA was one. I would like a straight up honest answer on why a pol would vote for one and not another. Optics.

So what happened to the 10 day investigation, did the GOP come up empty again?

That’s right. Lummis and Rick Scott voted aye on PA but no on AZ. Kennedy voted aye on AZ but no on PA.

There was no debate before the PA vote, so it’s hard to tell why. My guess is that it’s because there were different issues in each state and the three of them were convinced by one but not the other.
