I would also note that she was already surrounded by SS and capital police. Why would someone on the other side of the door need to shoot? Why not allow the people standing withint 2 or 3 feet of her to address the situation?
I wonder if we will find out that the shooter had cancer or something and was sent by the Ds to shoot someone with the promise that his family would be taken care of. Total Conspiracy stuff, but that is where we are.
