Absolutely. We watched all of the LOTR movies from Hobbit on through on New Years Day. I have never wept or prayed as much while watching movies in my life. I need to replace our set of books - they are battered beyond passing on to the next round of readers. I can’t say that’s a bad thing...

You have to see the extended versions! I need to replace my LOTR books. The last set got worn out and the binding disintegrated (it was all three books in one volume).
I have the original edition of the Silmarillion.
