You have to see the extended versions! I need to replace my LOTR books. The last set got worn out and the binding disintegrated (it was all three books in one volume).
I have the original edition of the Silmarillion.

Where did you find the extended versions? We own the LOTR DVD set but I think we were watching on Netflix or Prime. I am not sure because I was not in charge of the remote. Ha!

I have them in 4K and they’re spectacular (even better than Teri Hatcher’s boobs on Seinfeld). Makes the Blu-rays look like VHS.
Okay, maybe not quite that good.
