Tanya's rep tells TMZ, she was on a walk with her dogs on Christmas Eve and when she returned home she collapsed. She was taken to the hospital and put on a ventilator but never got better. We're told it was NOT COVID-related. Tanya died today.
In the days leading up to her collapse, we're told Tanya appeared perfectly healthy ... even doing video chats for her fans.
Tanya was a go-to model and actress in her heyday -- so much so, she even appeared as one of the Bond girls, Stacey Sutton, in "A View to a Kill," opposite Roger Moore.
She also starred in campy adventure fantasy flicks like "Sheena" and "The Beastmaster," plus a bunch of raunchy comedies, slashers movies and action/erotica B-films like "Sins of Desire," "Legal Tender," "Deep Down," "Inner Sanctum," "Night Eyes," "Almost Pregnant," "Favorite Deadly Sins" and "Tourist Trap," plus several others. All in all, she has 41 acting credits to her name dating back to '70s.
Speaking of that era, she might best remembered as Donna Pinciotti's mom, Midge, on "That '70s Show" -- who was always getting ogled by the boys in the neighborhood. Tanya was portrayed as a dumb blonde, who eventually left her TV family and the show entirely to deal with her hubby's real-life illness.

All I remember about View to a Kill was Duran Duran... tells you my age! 😂

I forgot to mention that A VIEW TO A KILL had an excellent song...Yes, indeed...Soundtrack was fine also...I once had the CD for the soundtrack of the movie...
Sorry that she is gone - sincere condolences to her family and close friends.
I don’t know much about her other than she was a serious hottie back in the day. Perhaps the fact that she didn’t speak out on matters and tried to keep her life private speaks well of her as a person - unlike many others in her line of work and related fields.
Another Bond Girl passes. RIP.
Some of the best photos I have taken at Sci-Fi conventions have been of Tanya Roberts (her stage name) among the top three (the others were Robin Curtis - Star Trek and Tracy Scoggins - B-5). All photogenic and pleasant. Very kind to their fans.
Roberts was truly beautiful, funny, and very nice. I have one of us together that sums up her lovely smile and personality.
Glad that she had a fun-filled, family-filled, pleasant life. She had/has more personality and class than the following bunch of so-called “actresses” that passed by on TV and in a few forgettable movies.
Shalom, Tanya! RIP!
2018 Another beauty in good health Marta Dubois (Magnum’s TV wife) died at 65 from aneurism. (possibility?)
Sometimes they are like time bombs waiting to go off.
No matter what its darn sad.
Clasdoc early days of HBO, a.k.a, “Hey, Beastmaster on?”
Classic... argh.
And Dawn Wells of Gilligan’ Island fame . Trio .
People can die young (age 65 is not exactly a spring chicken BTW) for any number of reasons, besides "living a hard life" as you call it.
I almost died of a heart attack at 63. Had to have quadruple bypass open heart surgery to save my ass. And I never drank or smoked in my life. Exercised and watched my weight. But is was genetic and ran in my family.
Some people die of anomalies, strokes, disease or infections. She must not have lived too hard of a life if she just returned from a walk.
May the poor woman Rest in Peace.
I didn't remember she was the woman in Beastmaster.
RIP Tanya Roberts.
Lucille Ball died from an aneurysm. I think it was a ruptured aorta.
“She may not have been smart, but she sure was sweet!”
-Bob Pinciotti
“The Beastmaster” started my puberty.
RIP, hot stuff.
RIP Tanya.
Way too young. Sad to hear this news...
When will the madness end?
Roger that. It happens.
Baloney. Unless you can cite a verifiable study, that's only true of those who die in self-caused accidents like overdoses or car crashes when drunk, etc. Not the case with this lady.
I'm in agreement with the brain anuerysm theory. My teetotal relative had one at 45. Another friend dropped dead of one at her 36th birthday party. And-- my scrupulously vegetarian friend died at 61 from a blood clot.
“People who die young often led wild lives when they were young.”
Perhaps... perhaps not. When I was in high school the two guys in high school that were probably two of the three or four that were most fit, and who remained fit their entire lives both died in their 50s from heart attacks.
I had a chest X-Ray five years ago that showed a “calcified aortic arch”.
I googled it and learned about Lucille Ball. I’ve been taking “Koncentrated K” plus D3, trying to reverse calcium deposits.
I had the heart CAC scan last year, score of 6 in one artery, zero in the others. I wish they would have looked at the aorta, to see if it’s clearing up.
