I understand what you’re saying Freee-dame. As usual, a small group has ruined it for a lot of people. And we can’t blame it all on Antifa. They were there, sure. But not everyone who stormed the Capitol were Antifa.
Why would a Trump supporter take zip ties to a peaceful protest? Why wear a helmet and paramilitary gear? They weren’t all Antifa. How many people here on FR have posted we should attack? We’ve got Trump supporters who right now are trying to get another protest organized for January 20.
The majority of the people who were at the Capitol were the same caliber of people who were on the Ellipse. But we had some angry people who came to take on the government.
I think we should protest on January 20. We should not cave to the RAT rhetoric. I will NEVER believe it was Trump supporters in the capitol on Jan. 6. I'm not organizing a protest, I won't be there, but I think it should be done.
As I look back in recent history, protests no matter how off-the-wall they were actually got respect and things changed for them. It took a while, but it worked. That is why I think we need to be visual and vocal until we get a redress of our grievances.
