I am angry at the stupid people who went into the Capitol last week. Instead of Jan 6 being remembered as a day when hundreds of thousands of Freedom-loving Americans came to DC (which they did) to show their support for President Trump, Jan. 6 will be remembered for the violence and death that resulted from breaching the Capitol. ... and is now leading to impeachment, stifling of First Amendment rights, much “righteous” ( though phony) cancelling, etc. sad

I understand what you’re saying Freee-dame. As usual, a small group has ruined it for a lot of people. And we can’t blame it all on Antifa. They were there, sure. But not everyone who stormed the Capitol were Antifa.

Why would a Trump supporter take zip ties to a peaceful protest? Why wear a helmet and paramilitary gear? They weren’t all Antifa. How many people here on FR have posted we should attack? We’ve got Trump supporters who right now are trying to get another protest organized for January 20.

The majority of the people who were at the Capitol were the same caliber of people who were on the Ellipse. But we had some angry people who came to take on the government.

I’m sure all democrats didn’t approve of the killing, looting, arson, etc., of BLM and ANTIFA, but many democrat politicians approved, and it was accepted by all.
Yet you believe a few angry Trump Supporters are responsible for annuling the first amendment, cancelling of Trump supporters, and impeachment?

Perhaps you should investigate and read Trump supporters tweets and people coming back from that day telling of their stories. Attacking fellow Trump supports is serious. Please consider investigating and asking people here (and their friends and families)what happened while they here present there.

Comments like yours really add to the misinformation. Police(real or fake) shot rubber bullets at 60/70/80 year old(many Vietnam Vets) Trump supports there on the 6th.

Let me ask this....if you were being shot at for no reason other than walking your capitol steps when there, were NO barriers...(their words) wouldn't you have tried to get inside or get your loved one inside for protection? And there were people trying to help people get down the steps.
