Oh, I got my picture taken in the grocery store today. A old woman, about my age, signaled to me from the next checkout lane by slapping her face mask several times. Guess I must have forgotten to put one on again - damn old age, I forget all the time. Well, I was of course confused and signaled back by tapping my bare face. She complained to her checker to no avail. The lady in front of me commented how rude and controlling some people are, I thanked her. The older woman was done checking out and stopped to whip out her phone. Figured 911 or my glamour shot. Sure enough, it was the camera. So I posed - tongue out, eyes crossed, arms flailing about. My loving husband even jumped in with a middle finger salute. I don’t think she liked that. My checker then complained how masks are horrible and we are breathing our own foul breath. Told her I was done. And she thanked me. Wonder if I will be on the cover of Vogue?!?
