And social liberal policies create mayhem, mental illness, increased drug use, violence and crime, and thus require more gov. money. That’s partially why the libertarian party platfrom is unworkable bunkum. Low taxes (or none), right to bear arms, every vice imaginable legal, all drugs legal including bath salts and anything else imaginable, open borders (”free flow of goods and people”) totally. What could possible go wrong?

A socially liberal person may be someone who is tolerant of sex outside of marriage, gays, people of other faiths, interracial relationships and so on. None of which I see having a government price tag. You are confusing a social liberal with a fiscal liberal.
