Garrote or stun gun would leave marks. If they didn’t intend to kill her those marks should raise questions with normal parents. What the heck? Five year old? The investigator sounds legit but the question I have is how could they accidentally kill her when not killing her would leave evidence and a traumatized little girl. Parents?
My brother would’ve. He was going around making nooses and such when he was about ten. Had to grow a little meaner before he started in on the sadistic stuff. Also have a young miscreant distant cousin, he was picking locks and stealing money by the time he was ten. He’s in foster care now, nobody could handle him.
