She is your little sister,
She is your neighbor's wife.
She is somebody's daughter,
You've known her all her life.
She may be someone's mother,
She may be someone's nurse.
She now has an M-16,
But once it was a purse.
She's as soft as satin fine,
She's also tough as steel.
She may fly a fighter jet.
For so strong is her will.
She is the female warrior,
She serves her nation well.
She may be from northern climes,
Or even Southern Belle.
Honor her and show respect,
