If they removed ballots then it seems like an audit would be made easier. A simple count of how many absentee votes were recorded compared to how many ballots now exist could easily prove fraud.

I wondered about this boast backfiring. I'm sure it could be done if a competent and knowledgeable programmer were given the time and equipment to perform such testing. But to do such testing, unless everything were already in place to feed previously stacked ballots into a set of scanners and obtain a result that one could somehow demonstrate to even an educated audience in two hours strikes me as undoable.
