To start out with I am an agnostic towards the subject. I will say however, I have the strangest things happening on a remote property that I own here in Alaska. We are finding tracks that have dermal ridges having rocks thrown and other crazy stuff. I am 25 miles from the nearest town and only accessible by boat. If I’m a nut case then so are 20 other people who have come out to my property and had experiences. My neighbor who is a Doctor won’t go back. Until I see one however I’m not a believer...
Bigfoot has always seemed a lot more plausible to me than the idea of extraterrestrial ‘aliens’ visiting us in spaceships.
I have met two men, both of whom were neither nut-cases nor prone to making false claims, who told me (quietly and confidentially) that they saw what they could only decribe as a large lumbering creature, i.e.—a “Big Foot”.
The first saw it during WW2, while on an Army reconnaissance mission in the jungles of South American country, forget which one.
The other saw it here in Oregon.
I know such reports are often scoffed at, but I have NO DOUBT that these two men were relating an actual experience!
I used to hear them at night when I lived in Washougal, WA. NW indian legend says it is bad luck to see one.
Look for crossed saplings or broken off branches formed into an X around your property. That is their “no trespassing” sign. Stacks of rocks is their “hello” sign. If you feel like leaving something for them (”hi, I’m not a threat”) they like white bread, rolls, etc.
