Honestly, in the event I were ever to be a position to look again (currently 25+ years happily married), I do not know that I would look to get married. Times have changed and frankly, too much financial and legal risk.
Married 30 yrs. If something happened to my spouse, I would never marry again. Agree too much financial risk. Divorce too complicated. Better to walk away.
How about a wife who doesn’t really enjoy sex but loves being a mom? She’s happy with 4 kids while he steps out from time to time and comes home to a cooked meal with the ones he loves. I’ve seen it work.
I will never again enter into a contract where a party is allowed to profit by breaking it.
There was a girl, Rene Talbot, who I should have married decades ago. I’m seventy five now and the one I ended up with is now gone to her own life of singleness. I sure wish I had chosen Rene back then. I owe her the biggest apology but cannot find her.
