Talk radio star Mark Levin told his social media audiences that he would be leaving Facebook.
“Please follow me at Parler as I will leave Facebook in 4 days for continuingly censoring me,” Levin said to his social media followers on Dec. 28. Levin then sent out a second post the following day indicating to his followers that he would be leaving the platform “in a matter of hours.” He called Facebook “corrupt.”
The announcements came after Levin had already hinted at boycotting the social media giant. Since October Levin received three notifications from Facebook indicating his page had been given “reduced distribution and other restrictions,” which has crescendoed in him announcing his departure.
“I've been restricted and censored on Facebook. Please make sure you transition to Parler ASAP as I will be leaving Facebook probably by the end of the year,” Levin said on Nov. 18.
“Parler is a wonderful alternative and is growing, and we need you there ASAP. It believes in truly open speech,” Levin told his followers. “Over 4.2 million of you are following me on Parler now. It can’t be that hard to sign on. I hope the rest of you folks will join us.”
The conservative media star said he would remain on Twitter, as it has not yet censored or interfered with his posts. Although he remained wary it could still happen. “I’m not confident it won’t happen. We shall see. But do come join us at Parler.”
Mark probably thinks there are too many ‘kooks’ here to stick around. Shame. FR is great!
He’s too popular for this,

Yeah i know he probably reads it like everyone else but it’s a shame he feels he can’t post here or whatever.
I don’t follow any liberal accounts. I only follow patriots that support MAGA and Trump. The Blitzer one came from someone else’s retweet.

This place is great but it’s not ideal for newsmakers like Levin. An uncensored Twitter is really the best platform for reaching enormous audiences immediately, but Parler is the best Twitter clone yet.
He is a Hypocrite. I know, he banished me for a mild criticism years ago. I was stunned at the time. You could not pay me to listen to his crap again.
It’s Hannity that named Levin “the Great One.” I’ve never heard Levin refer to himself that way and I frequently watch his show.
Actually I think it was Rush who gave him the moniker “Great One”.
He has never referred to himself by “the Great One”. That is a moniker Rush Limbaugh gave Levin many years ago.
All my friends/colleagues etc. love Facebook/Insta but I have never seen the appeal personally.
I have recently discovered thedonald.win but they dont like Rand much and i’ve had a few terse comments.
I won’t start a flame war about “kooks” on FR. I will say however there are plenty of folk around here who march to the beat of a different drummer.

Parler does not have 10 Chinese Communist Party members in their “throttling, fact-faking, censoring” working for them— as Facebook actually has— and that is those known in the US. Untold censors and commies in other countries, for instance Communist China. So, there is that advantage.
Dan Bongino uses Parler, a lot. Many other conservative commentators.
