I spent 17 days watching football with two weeks before he returned to Los Vagas for sentencing. He signed a NFL Signature Football for me “name Peace be to you, NFL Buffalo 20003 yards, O.J. Simpson.
We had so many conservation, about football. I asked him about the for TV Movie never released and he just shrugged. We talked about which of us were worst for wear - OJ with football or me with 20 years as a Paratrooper. We agreed the other was worse off. He had two knee replacement surgeries among others. Me two back surgeries, knee, ankle and a spinal fusion.
He would have been an excellent soldier...
