SOME HISTORY TRIVIA: In the 1600s American settlers along the Potomac were having problems with pirates and appealed to the British for assistance.

The British Navy came in and mapped out the entire waterway in the course of eradicating the pirates.

150 years later, they used those maps to attack Washington and burn the WH.
