I had heard various interviews over the years, and knew I basically agreed with what he had to say in those. However, they were never really in depth answers either.
And given the hype over will he or won’t he at various times, I didn’t really take him serious at first either. I couldn’t find any hint that he had attended the Bilderberger Meeting, so that gave me hope.
I knew for sure I wouldn’t be voting for Hillary, and I was not impressed with the rest of the GOP candidates either. So happy that POTUS has been such a wonderful president. I was proud to vote for 4 more years.
Trump’s emergence on the political scene was definitely a pleasant surprise for me. He was the only candidate who dared to talk about certain issues. Most of us had given up on illegal immigration ever being dealt with in any serious way. When Trump made building a border wall one of the hallmarks of his campaign, I realized how the rest of the GOP had succeeded in getting their base to lower their expectations. I was shocked that there was a candidate who dared to support something so logical. I think that’s when I knew I was witnessing a politician unlike any I had seen before.
