Seeing your post reminded me of busier times. When our oldest daughter lived in Mo.-she’s in Dakotas now, she used to spend Dec. 30-Jan. 1 with us. We called in Fish and Dish.
She had new recipes(usually fish) to try. I always made the crab legs-and drawn butter. We would invite friends who didn’t have family living close and/or no where to go to bring a dish.
So we always provided the fish and a side dish and added their dishes for a pot-luck festive evening.
