AzK. The last year shows as 2007 for Rabies in China and looks like there is an increase. (It could also be that they just became better at reporting confirmed cases.)
Since bats and dogs are both considered food in china the increase in rabies is pretty understandable.

Political criminals of the magnitude we are dealing with know they can rely upon the innate psychological tendency of the general population to "Suppress" or "Repress" intolerable material.
