Still, I’m not overly impressed that adoption “malfeasance” is the hill to fight for on Roberts. All things considered, if he wasn’t a Republic assassinating derp he could cop to something like that and walk away with the respect of the majority of either party. He’s got something weird and nasty or moldering dried up in some closet waiting to spring out.

I don’t think Roberts is afraid of it being found out he adopted kids illegally from Ireland. Even if he were forced to step down from the SC, he would get a great gig somewhere paying more and millions would think he was a martyr for being forced out over something relatively minor, no pun intended.
No, there’s probably something else involving a minor going on and video evidence of it.
Now, maybe he was one of those people who was drugged and has no recollection of doing the things he was filmed doing, but tough. I don’t feel sorry for him.
Suppose one of these people who might technically be innocent of some heinous act because they were duped into going somewhere and didn’t realize what they were getting into and then were drugged and filmed came clean? Suppose they explained that this is a routine tactic among the powerful? Would it not serve as a redpill moment for countless people?
So the so-called innocent who were drugged are still guilty.
They could spill the beans. They choose not to.
