Please explain the science (epidemiology) behind the single day plummet of 100,000 positives.

Testing Takes A Holiday
Some may reference the holiday, but cannot explain how this impacts the US response going forward.
If zero persons were tested in a 24 hour period, what would the next days “new cases” number be?
Disregard the death numbers, they are a lagging indicator.
Instead of masks and distancing, shouldn’t we just STOP getting tested?

Of the several doctors that I know personally, and the ones that are related to close friends, one hundred percent of them have stated that the chi-com virus death numbers are inflated for strictly financial reasons.
