2 Turtle doves. The Promises (Testaments) of God. Both those promises are the removal of God’s wrath. Peace.
3 French Hens. (Typically) The virtues of Faith, Hope and Charity or (alterante) the Triune God manifested in all three Persons in the annunciation to (all the Earth) the shepherds.
