That galaxy (Andromeda) is supposedly racing towards our Milky Way galaxy at some ridiculously fast rate. However, it’s so darn far away (2.2 million light years, or 2.2 million x 5.9 TRILLION miles) that it will take about 4.5 BILLION years to get here. And by that time the Sun will have gone into its “Red Giant” phase and likely consumed the Earth! So, in any event, we’re doooomed!!!!!!!
