Thanks. The main thing I was looking for was to see how the Joint Chiefs of Staff fit into the picture—given statements from General Milley.

So it seems to me that Whatever the President and Sec. of Defense decide is the relevant question-not up to the joint chiefs. Now that you mention it, I do recall that we discussed the President’s Own regarding the Marines early on.

Maybe Wiki thought they were part of the unified command or something. Ha.

"Following the Goldwater–Nichols Act in 1986, the Joint Chiefs of Staff do not have operational command authority, either individually or collectively, as the chain of command goes from the president to the secretary of defense, and from the secretary to the regional combatant commanders. Goldwater–Nichols also created the office of vice chairman, and the chairman is now designated as the principal military adviser to the Secretary of Defense, the Homeland Security Council, the National Security Council and the president."

Joint Chiefs of Staff

And of course, now we know that Special Ops will be reporting Directly to the Sec. of Defense as of November this year.

No prob. I wasn’t correcting you. Just using the opportunity to state the facts some may not be aware of that this chart didn’t accurately show.

The Marine Corps is part of the Dept. of Navy but answers directly to orders from POTUS. The only branch of service that does so.

So even though the chart could be technically correct being USMC is under Dept. of Navy and thusly included under the unified command, it is at the call of the President 24/7/365.

Thanks for the post and the chart. And for being a great part of the team.

Much obliged,
SS1

2020: The Year of the Big Fraud
American Thinker ^ | 20 Dec, 2020 | Clarice Feldman

In 2020 the endemic fraud underlying most of our institutions became undeniable. What will the response be in 2021?

This was a year in which a number of frauds were exposed: Election fraud, media fraud, and public health fraud, among them. Their exposure has stirred outrage and as the year ends, no relief seems in sight.

Election Fraud With No Apparent Judicial Relief

Many Americans — according to some surveys, a majority — believe that the presidential election was marred by massive fraud in five states without which the President would surely have been re-elected.

The short version of this disbelief in the integrity of the election results is this by Kenekoa the Great on the unrealistic belief that the frail, corrupt Joe Biden won:

@KanekoaTheGreat

When you win a record low 17% of counties, lose Black & Hispanic support, lose 18/19 Bellwether Counties, lose Ohio, Florida, & Iowa — and lose 27/27 House “Toss-Ups” — but you shatter the popular vote record
