Sounds like a disaster in the making. And I hope people get wise and avoid the vaccine if they are unsure.
I dont get flu shots, no way I am taking any vaccine. they got me @2nd grade with polio vac, but little kids dont have much of a choice, do they?

Sounds like me. I was in the first round of polio mass Vax. The one they suspended after a few weeks due to the Cutter Incident. Fortunately, my school did not get any of the Cutter Lab Vax that caused thousands of cases of polio.
I don’t get the flu shot. I study a Vax carefully before I take it. Same with Rx. I have no intention to take this Vax, until we have long-term data, and based on what I’ve read so far, probably never.
I’ve had lots of shots. Going over seas as a youngster. I remember getting the gamma goblin 👺 and running down the hall screaming like the devil. My older sister keeps reminding me. I think I was 5. I have avoided the flu shots since the early 2000s.
I like the tetnus shot. Had that once. Not pleasant.
