I don’t know that I have an issue with herd immunity, but I didn’t think it could be achieved by people getting sick, hence masks. I’m not FOR masks, I hate them for many reasons. So now they want us to achieve herd immunity with a vaccination.

But we will never have heard immunity from influenza or the common cold or corona because the virus itself is constantly changing.

The only way we achieved “herd immunity” from smallpox or polio was through mass vaccination, never through everyone getting it.

We will never achieve herd immunity from influenza because it constantly changes. That’s why they have to make a new vaccine every year. Same with the common cold, it constantly changes it’s spots.

I really don’t know. I do have issues with being over vaccinated.

I also have issues whether this virus is about the election, keeping us mute, or whether it is deadly to healthy people, especially if it has a 90% + survival rate.

On the other hand, I’m willing to accept I may be arguing myself into a corner lol

I’m pretty sure COVID is real ... trust me, I am living through a nightmare related to it right now. I’m damn sure it was a biological attack on the United States to help the communists secure the election and hand a lot more of it over to China.

I think the masks are complete nonsense. My guess is that they forced them on us so that Antifa people and vote counters would be harder to identify ... all of them wear masks.

It’s a weak guess on my part, but it would explain why they forced that mask garbage on us. They knew the riots were coming, and they knew that they’d be videoed when counting votes.

I only know two MDs ... one is a dentist, the other a GP. Both do not think they make much of a difference. They’re mainly used to prevent spit/saliva from spraying when you talk during surgery or a procedure.

While that helps a little to reduce the viral load someone may receive from a contagious mask wearer, it doesn’t seem like your probability of contracting the disease drops much. Moreover, the masks we are forced to use are absolutely nothing like the ones used for surgery. They’re glorified scarves.

Not true.
Herd immunity relates to (approximately) 80% of the population having immunity from exposure.
You are conflating herd immunity with eradication.
In that you ARE correct in saying we won’t have eradication of influenza, common cold, etc.
That is exhibited by current reality.
But, we certainly DO have herd immunity from these based on the population that contracts those maladies every year.
E.G. a population >~20% don’t get sick.
In proper terms herd immunity is not eradication
Even with the flu-shot, people will still get sick...just not in epidemic/pandemic proportions.

There is a herd immunity in a sense to both the cold and the flu. That which circulates here is a pain in the ass, but it doesn’t kill rafts of us except when radically different, or extra territorial strains crop up.

You need to remember also that there is next to 0 accurate epidemiological evidence being disseminated on CoVid, it is a Chinese tool with indeterminate lethality (because being listed as dying from it is financially incentivized, and the testing regimen is scientifically invalid). The best anyone can do at this point is strive for peak health and obtain some substance that has shown treatment effect.
