I don’t know... can you get herd immunity with a virus? The problem with corona and rhinovirus is they are RNA types.. they change all the time, that’s why you have to get a flu shot every year. Well.. you don’t HAVE to, you know what I’m saying.

I like to call it “community immunity” rather than herd, herd just sounds shocking and bad because we are people not a herd of cows. But it derives from veterinary medicine. They can do a lot of infectious disease research with cattle that would be unethical or impossible to do with people.
Petey, JMO, but I agree with your felon doctor. I’ve seen sources early in this fiasco of virus attack that said it was President Trump’s first choice. I can’t find sauce on that tonight but I’ve watched statistical graphs thru the months. Sweden chose to go the herd immunity route, it was predicted that there would be no Swedish people left. But their deaths per capita are less than most locked down countries.
I tried to google graphs but only have a dumb phone to work with. Attaching an article that reports in a middle of the road manner. Personally, I think I’d have preferred this route to lockdowns and face bras.
