We’ve got a lot of weapons and a tradition of using them.
See tagline.
They have to come for our guns.
No two ways about it.
Beat me by half a minute
Yes, FOOD!
“The number of veterans in the United States declined by about a third, from 26.4 million to 18.0 million between 2000 and 2018.”
https://www.census.gov/newsroom/press-releases/2020/veterans-report.html
So let’s say only half (9,000,000) can get into the field to lead these folks:
“Three-in-ten American adults (30%) say they personally own a gun”
https://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2019/10/22/facts-about-guns-in-united-states/
Let’s say half are too young or too old, So that’s conservatively 300,000,000 / 2 * 33% = 50,000,000. Suppose only half of fighting aged gun owners show up to be led by the 9,000,000 veterans. That’s a force of 25,000,000 total, 9,000,000 of whom are vets and say 14,000,000 of whom are merely hunters with long guns, scopes, predating skills, cammo, trigger control, etc.
In comparison,
“the China People’s Liberation Army, which consists of Ground Forces, NAVY, and Artillery as well as armed police and, of course, a strong air force. The latest estimates about the size of this army at 2,035,000 personnel”
https://www.worldatlas.com/articles/29-largest-armies-in-the-world.html
So America’s leadable gun owners are ten times the size of the largest army in the world.
Just sayin’.
You bet your ass we do. Oldest son came home tonight with a bunch of green tipped 5.56 ammo. I'm a happy camper. :-)
Hey China: remember one thing -- behind every blade of grass is an American patriot with a weapon they fully know how to use.
You'd best bring a lot of body bags for yourselves. You're gonna need 'em if you think we're the 24th province.
