I’ve been confronted by a few women in the stores, but last night I had my first confrontation with a man because I wasn’t wearing a mask. He proclaimed loudly that I shouldn’t be allowed through the doors without a mask. I proclaimed just as loudly that he should get his testosterone checked because he was squealing like a frightened little girl.
Canada is airing ads on the TV that say “we all need to do our part to protect not just ourselves, but our fellow citizens by wearing a mask”. These ads are emboldening people and whipping them into the kind of frenzy that makes them think they’ve been deputized to confront fellow citizens. I don’t see this ending well for me but I’m not caving in.

We saw the Orions on a daily basis, I knew quite a few of the guys, some still live around here.
Best Buy and the electronics manufacturers have recognized reality: most people come into BB to look, and then actually buy on the internet. Best Buy is now a technology showroom where manufacturers pay big bucks for product placement. I'm not sure they care if they sell anything.
