“During the Revolutionary War literally the only battle one was the last one!”

I’m sorry this is an incorrect statement. The final battle, Yorktown, was the one which ended up winning the war, but it was not “literally” the only battle won.

Concord/Lexington (after initial volleys British were harried throughout their retreat)
Trenton (after the famous crossing)
Saratoga (after which the French started helping)
Kings Mountain (forcing a retreat back to SC)
Cowpens (basically ended the British southern campaign)

And those are just some of the big names. (plus you said one instead of won ;-p)

Trenton was huge...morale-wise,provision-wise, and munitions-wise. maybe the real turning point in the war?

Is American History taught in any detail anymore?
