I don’t think it was Julie Andrews, but the actress was English.

Sally Anne Howe.

Watching that was one of several movies growing up that showed up once a year and I was allowed to stay up to watch.

Others include The Wizard of Oz and It's A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World and The Incredible Mr. Limpet (with Don Knotts).

Sally Anne Howe was attractive. I don’t remember much about Anna Quayle. I have the same memory of it being on TV once a year - usually around Thanksgiving. I generally liked movies like that as a kid, but for some reason, aside from the first 20 minutes or so, it never quite clicked for me.
