Yes, a virus strives to survive, which means don’t kill everyone, but infect everyone. That’s why they tend to weaken over time as my bio-scientist relative working with vaccine researchers says.
He was predicting about 6 months ago that it would die out next year, whether vaccines arrived or not. I should call him and get an update.
lockdowns and masks have not worked...masks help, akin to covering your mouth when you cough...but stopping a virus is nearly impossible IMO....
and vaccines?...well our flu vaccine is probably only 50% effective if that, and we have no vaccine for the common cold, which is a corona virus....

I’ve mentioned that my mom has been sick with something (not covid) and my dad and his wife have covid. Dad’s wife has advanced dementia, and they caught the virus from a caregiver for her.
We’ve gotten home health involved with my mom so they are coming in, two here this morning. One of them works at the hospital also, and I asked him what was his opinion on herd immunity. He didn’t exactly agree that that would happen but he said that while cases were really up here, people weren’t as sick, and that the virus is weakening. He said that people were still being admitted, but again, not as sick.
Like this guy - Hispanic, told my mom they had turned off Fox now. :-) (Had my mom coming down the stairs and back up, walking around the living room when I could barely get her to sit up and eat for two weeks.)
(My dad was scheduled for a followup surgery on Thursday and wants to get a clear test today so that he can have someone drive him to Bham for that. Sigh. I can’t fix everything I’ve discovered.)
Saw that this morning. These judges sound just like the mockingbird media.
My opinion only. I think this is a lot of the BTT reaction.
Full disclaimer: I was of the same mind about candidate Trump. I never followed him, haven't owned a TV, thought his candidacy was a joke. I did like his rhetoric but did not believe him. I believe my opinion was most changed by his decorum and speech at inauguration. I believe President Trump truly is God's man. Just took me a while. President Trump has proven himself. BTT is still Monday morning quarterbacking every play. A grudge?

Next auction off all the western states real estate Obama grabbedfor the gub’mnt. Jefferson wanted a provision in the Constitution that the gub’ment could own no land outside of the DC conclave, that’s part of the reason DC is a conclave not a state. It toasts my feathers that the gub’ment owns or controlls substantial percentages of some western states.
Private property rights and pricate contract rights are conerstones of our society understood even if not specifically delinared by the founding docs
