“Corduroy and Cotton are 15 now, I’m trying to enjoy every day with them.

Moving them now would be very hard on them. When we moved in 2006 we sold our house, but our new one wasn’t built yet. We moved in with our youngest daughter and she had a CHOW and didn’t want any cats there. So I took them to our other daughter. The first night she let them out potty and the oldest one took off but the other stayed. A month or so later I saw a dead cat on the overpass to the freeway. I am pretty sure it was him trying to get back to where he and us had lived. :-(

poor kitty! i have read that they can try to return to their old homes. mine don’t go outside, so no worries. even when i moved outside semi-ferals i kept them inside for several weeks after.
