About 12 years ago my husbands doctor had him get a blood test done for vitamin D levels. It showed he was Extremely low on Vitamin D so he put him on 50,000 IU. After a couple of years of him being on D I read about how it can build up in your system and that one should have a liver test done. The doctor never had one done on him. So I called the doctor and told him what I had found out. That it can build up in your system and become toxic and all he said was “Just take him off them.”
Since you are only slightly over the Mayo Clinic recommendation you will probably be ok.
