My squirrels have their own feeder too. Used to be the flat square feeder for the birds and they still use it, but they have others.

They actually make a ‘critter mix’ for the squirrels that has whole corn kernels, sunflower seeds and in-shell peanuts. https://www.lowes.com/pd/National-Audubon-Society-7-lb-Critter-Mix-Wildlife-Food/1000429873 The blue jays like the corn and of course everyone likes the sunflower seeds, so the birds do eat it too.

Little varmints still like to raid the sunflower seed feeder, but not as much.

I use a mixture of cracked corn , peanuts and sunflower seeds.
